Only a few days left

Only few days left until I start university. I'm really looking forward to it. I saw a couple of great scientific activities that seem awesome. That's the case of S.O.N.I.A. (Système d'Opération Nautique Intelligent et Autonome). They won tons of prizes for its design and such. It looks really incredible. It's an automated submarine that could be use to look for shipwreck or detect submarine mines.

They use a lot of really interesting technologies such as virtual sight (search for a light), sonar technologies (search for a sound), etc. It has 6 engines and handle pretty well. I might try to go work on this project if I have some free time. I'm really interested in virtual sight. Do pixel detection on video feed seem awesome. Underwater movement optimization seem cool too. I'll see.

The welcome to pre-students

Yesterday, I went to my university. It was a welcome session for the new student and I was amazed by everything out there. The people seem really friendly and everything is clean and respectful. I didn't see any scratch table with the name or someone or anything. That's new for me.

Even thought I'm far form a fan of meetings of students, I found everybody really fun and they almost convince me to go to the integration session. But since I don't drink any alcohol.. I don't think it's a place for me. I think I'll work instead. I'll meet friends during class instead.

Welcome in my blog!

So.. let me present myself. I'm a student at the "École des technologies supérieurs" in Québec in Canada. I'm actually working for a Web company that goes by the name of NeXion. Even thought it's relatively small, it does multiple big websites such as the e8.

In this blog, I will talk about my experiences about coding, web design, photoshop and others.
